Tea healthier than water

I was reading a study done by the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition which stated "Tea now healthier than water". It debunked the common thought that tea dehydrates (due to caffeine content). In fact they stated that where water hydrates, tea does the same but has added benefits such as vitamins and minerals and antioxidents- which help prevent cell damage. The clear evidence result was that drinking 3 to 4 cups of tea a day can cut the chances of having a heart attack. Some studies presented suggested that tea also fought cancer, but in their studies the results were not all clear cut.

My present tea infatuation? Fair Trade and Organic Jasmine Dragon Tears. Little balls of green tea hand rolled with jasmine. The scent is enough to relax anyone, and with a dollop of honey, the taste is subtle, smooth and refreshing. A little bit of caffeine to give you a boost. Yes, it is decidedly a bit more pricey than some other teas at $25 a 1/4 pound (makes about 50 cups of tea, so its really only about .50 a cup), but it is a ceremony in itself. It's easy to forget that tea is decidedly less costly than coffee, and that while $25 a 1/4 pound may sound like a lot, when you break it down per cup, it's actually brilliantly priced. I go to town in my afternoon slump and prepare my tea and savour it, I look forward to it as a treat.
